Hot Potatoz attended its first-ever gaming convention: SHUX ‘22! And it was freaking awesome!!!!
We had our own table in the Indie Ave area for three days and it was nonstop fun with back-to-back demos, meeting new friends and online ones for the first time, and connecting with other game designers and creators. Our table was so busy that we barely had any time to eat or really breathe all 3 days, but we aren’t complaining as it was so awesome to see you all have as much fun playing Hot Potatoz as we do.
Through the demos/playtests, we were able to obtain some testimonials! Check out those updates on our Kickstarter page if you’d like to hear what other gamers are saying about Hot Potatoz!
Other super awesome things happened, but that will be in an update coming soon…if you were there, you already know ;-) We are super excited to share that news but it deserves its own update, so keep your eyes peeled!

We’ve been live for just over 24 hours and it honestly feels unreal. I’ve legitimately slept maybe 2 hours in the last 3 days

I can’t even begin to explain how exhilarating and heartwarming it’s been to watch the number of backers rise, and know that there are currently over 200 people who believe in this project and are as excited about Hot Potatoz as we are.
It’s been a wild rollercoaster ride to get to this point and it’s all just getting started!
We’re blown away at how fast you all unlocked the first stretch goal and are happy to announce that everyone will be getting a free Hot Potatoz sticker sheet as well as reference cards for every player, with their reward!
